Traffic channelizers

There’s a massive road building that’s happening to the city where I live. As a result traffic is horrendous. Traffic jams are everywhere. Traffic channelizers can be spotted everywhere. Usually it takes me 30 minutes to get to work. Now it takes me give or take an hour.
Traffic channelizers are there to direct the flow of traffic. Usually they are stringed together so that they’re no breaks in the fence. Often they are made of plastics usually in bright orange in color. The reason for this is so they will be easy to spot even from a distance. They are road safety devices that warn you of impending hazard.
