It’s the stuff that action movies are made from. Little coins and boxes that seem to like harmless objects but are in fact miniature audio transmitters. The biggest surprise is when you find out how far they can transmit sound.
Audio transmitters use different kinds of frequencies to broadcast sound. Some use ultra-high frequency while others use the same kind of transmission as do FM radio stations. While it is not yet a common practice, some audio transmitters use Bluetooth to transmit sound to another receiver.
