We never know when natural disasters, economic and health crises will strike thus it is best to be always prepared. This is the reason why it is necessary for each home to have emergency survival kits or the so-called 72-hour kits which will help us get through a 3-day catastrophe. These kits contain our basic needs such as food and water, tents and blankets, communication tools, lighting gears, hygiene kits, first aid kits and many more. All these items come in one big backpack and have a shelf life of 5 years.

Contents of the kit vary depending on the size of the family. It may contain kits good only for one person but there’s also a kit good enough for a family of 10. Survival kits for children and pets are also available. It includes toys and other activity materials to keep the kids and pets entertained. You may find different brands of survival kits in the market. Choose the kits that offer more for it value.
