As was reported in the news, animal welfare activists are keeping tabs on the mass execution of pigs found to be infected with a severe, infectious virus. Despite the huge number of animals to be put down, they wanted to make sure that everything will be done humanely. The pigs will be not be harmed to death; instead, a stun gun between the eyes will be used.

The health department also kept an eye on the entire proceedings. They wanted to make sure that all infected pigs will be put down to stop the spread of infection. They also want to make sure that the workers will not contract the infection and that they will also not be contaminated during the cremation process.
