Security guards are usually the first ones to face the danger when there are burglaries and other crimes. They usually face more than one perpetrator when there is an encounter. The most common weapon they use is a stun baton. This is an excellent weapon to reach the perpetrator before he reaches you. It has a strong voltage that can temporarily paralyze the assailant.
Stun batons also come in different sizes and voltage. This means they can also be used for self defense. There is a 10 inch stun baton with a maximum voltage of 1,000,000 and can be kept in your bags or belt loops in case assault arises. And since these are not firearms, these are legal to carry everywhere. The small ones have the same effect as that of the big ones. It only varies in severity because of the voltage power.
