The need for self defense devices has increased with even more criminal elements roaming the streets. And we have gone a long way from the karate kick or the judo chop. Now, devices such as pepper sprays, stun guns and batons are being used for personal protection. They are not as oppressive as the gun or folding knives which are meant to kill. Pepper sprays and stun batons are meant to paralyze the bad guy so that the victim can run away.
The stun baton is popular because of its power and reach. Simply touch the assailant, pull the trigger and in a few seconds he is dazed and temporarily paralyzed. These are useful for security guards, policemen and individuals. A stun baton will be a handy device to bring along when you go jogging in a secluded path. It will keep wild animals at bay.
