Ever found yourself in the dark with a flashlight that has dead batteries? Annoying, right? Not to mention frustrating and dangerous. One way of ensuring that this never happens to you is to go out and get a shake flashlight. All you need to do is shake it and it’ll give you the light that you need.

This kind of flashlight comes in handy especially when you’re outdoors and can’t readily buy replacement batteries. It’s very affordable and easy to store inside backpacks or traveling bags. Shake flashlights should be included in every outdoor kit. There should also be a couple of these flashlights placed around the house in case of power outages. They can provide 5 minutes of bright light after each shake.
