We never know what disaster will hit us next. It could be an earthquake, fire, storm or another 911. We always pray that it does not happen to us and to our family, but we never know. So we better be prepared with disaster survival kits. Whatever disaster happens, we can almost be sure that it will involve power outages, cut off water and telephone service and stores not able to operate. This gives us an idea of what we should keep in our disaster survival kits.

What should be included in your emergency kits? The main kit should include water, food, a manual can opener, first aid and personal medications. Have a flashlight with extra batteries, an AM radio, some clothing and simple tools. Remember that ATM machines may not be working, so having cash will be helpful. Keep them in small denominations. Keep a survival kit in the home, in the car and in the office.
