The Practicality of Having Several Sets of Disaster Supplies

You don’t have to have experienced an emergency to resolve to have a kit ready for disasters. You can do it now. What to put in a kit is really up to you. We can only suggest items in general terms – emergency medication, a few tools, easy to prepare food and water. What you actually put in there is dependent on your living situation; think about the worst thing that can actually happen to your family and prepare for it.

You can in reality have several sets of disaster supplies. You can have a small bag of cleaning supplies, medicines and bandages for small accidents inside the home. You can have a more expanded set that is geared for disasters. It should contain a light source, some blankets and probably provision for emergency shelter. I imagine that food and water should be put together in a separate bag because these items need to be replaced from time to time.
