Life is really unpredictable so we have to be prepared of certain unexpected circumstances that might be experienced by us and our families. It is therefore important that we always keep a good amount of emergency supplies. These are typically the essential things we need to survive. They should regularly be checked to make sure that they remain good for use or consumption.

The following are the basic emergency supplies:~Water and food – at least 1 gal of clean water per person per day; food stocks that don’t need refrigeration or cooking stock for 3 days or more~Good stock of batteries~Blankets, sleeping bags, mending supplies and clothing for everyone~Matches in waterproof container~Lights, flashlights and radios~First aid kit~Prepaid cellphone with credit and battery operated charge~Compass
