Emergency preparedness

No one knows when a disaster is going to strike. It is best that we get ready for it. Emergency preparedness may get complicated at times since it covers a wide range of preparations so as not to create panic and avoid any harmful things to happen. We don’t need to be medical practitioners, members of the media nor a city official to be able to do all the preparations. It only needs focus and commitment to be ready ahead of time so as not to miss out on something very important.
This early, even if there is no expected typhoon coming, start listing on the things you might need in case of an emergency. Better list down the items in two separate categories–one for your home and the other for work. There’ll surely be a lot in your list but this are just very few examples:~ flashlights with batteries (provide some spare batteries too)~ first aid kit (complete with the basic medicines)~ drinking water~ blanket~ AM/FM radio (battery operated)~ emergency light
