Medical emergencies can occur anytime, anywhere. Whether you’re at home, in the car, camping in the woods or being in the wake of a natural disaster, medical emergency kits should not be forgotten in emergency planning. These kits contain food, water and other emergency equipment that will help keep one or more persons alive for up to 72 hours while waiting for rescue.
Our bodies are susceptible to many dangers in the event of emergencies. A simple cut or a serious concussion must not go untreated. Always be prepared to handle these kinds of situations. Aside from having medical emergency kits at the ready, you may want to enroll as well in a CPR class so you’ll also know what to do in case a family member will need resuscitation efforts in the future.
