Emergencies come in many forms. You think you are safe inside your house, but what if there is an earthquake or a fire breaks out. What if the coming of a strong storm is announced by the weather bureau? Are you prepared for a power outage? If only we know what will hit us, then it is easy to make preparations.
Our preparation for an emergency should cover not only the house but members of the family as well, including pets. Emergencies involving children are the most common in the home environment. We think we have done everything to be able to provide a safe home, but have we really? The least that we can do is come up with emergency preparedness kits both for the home and the car.
