You see buildings with them–little boxes with two lamps hoisted up near the ceiling. These are emergency lights, which have sensors that open up the lamps when power goes out. You know its industrial use, but does your house need it?

The ideal answer would be yes. Using emergency lights at home can certainly help you out during sudden power outages. You would no longer be groping in the dark to look for candles and matches; emergency lights situated in strategic parts of the house can easily help you fix the problem. It would also be an essential item when you have a kid at home, so it can light nurseries and kids’ rooms.
