emergency lights

It is not easy navigating in the dark especially during a power outage. You should have emergency lights available in case of these emergencies. They should be easy to find so you don’t have to grope and bump into furniture when looking for the lights.

There are different kinds of emergency lights you can find in the market. There are rechargeable spot lights, solar powered flashlights, flashlights with radios and more. Some are hand cranked using a dynamo. There are light sticks that last up to twelve hours. But whatever light you have, make sure that the batteries are charged or you have extra batteries on hand. Test all your equipment beforehand so you don’t have to figure it out when the emergency has occurred.
